Welcome to the Ultimate XC!
The Ultimate XC is a one-of-a-kind race. During a long weekend, this event brings together athletes from all over the world to be challenged while playing outdoors.
The most difficult racing challenges await them: on the first day, paddlers will undertake 67 km on lakes and rivers. On the second day, they will enter a full-on 58 km trail running race . At last, the weekend ends beautifully on a breathtaking 100 km mountain bike course. Some participants go for the "à la carte" weekend, taking part in one or more of the three challenges. The canoe-kayak race offers two distances, 21 km on Lake Tremblant or 47 km on rivers and lakes. Better yet, you may feel up to the challenge for our 13, 21, 35 or 58 km trail running courses. Others will opt only for the mountain biking race on a safe and fully marked course.
Head north up Pittwater to a channel marker off Palm Beach Wharf, after a 180 degree turn you head back to the start/ finish. Finish on the beach.

Unleash Compression strives to provide quality compression garments that
are built tough. The unique technology used by Unleash allows all
athletes to push the limits and achieve insane results. Our aim is to
get every athlete into a pair of Unleash and benefitting from
We strongly suggest competing in a pair of Unleash Compression 3/4
shorts or shorts as your legs undergo added stress when wading through
the mud and water sections of the course. Unleash Compression garments
will assist in support of the muscle and reduce the risk of injury,
while resisting the onset of fatigue. It is also recommended to wear
garments that are tight fitting and light. The reason being is that the
mud sticks to thicker fabrics that are wet therefore becoming heavy and
slowing you down. Unleash Compression 's unique circular knit and fabric
will ensure that you have minimal drag during the mud and water
sections and will be comfortable during the run sections of the course.
Unleash would like to offer all competitors 10% off our our entire
compression range. We will also be at the event where we will be hosting
the Chill Out Zone. We will have our compression range available for
purchase and we will also have a number of inflatable spas and lounges
for competitors to use while enjoying a cold beer in the river. There
will also be a DJ to set the mood for a relaxed and enjoyable day.
Log on to the online store and place your order to receive your 10%
discount and please drop into the Chill Out Zone on the day to meet the
